Records and how they are set

One of the first remembrances of Business 101 was the story about Henry Ford and the Assembly line revolutionizing the automobile business. He spoke of the theories that still permeate my actions today in a totally different industry.

Henry said, "In the early stages of business development it takes a thousand units of energy and raw materials to produce one unit of merchandise. As business practices and knowledge of production techniques grow, in the end it will only take one unit of energy and raw material to produce one thousand units of merchandise."

The more we do something the better we get at it! Hopefully.

The coaches in our athletic departments tout that "The road to a successful athletic program are paved with relentless repetitions of the sports fundamentals."

Although there have been many things in my life that no matter how many times I did or attempted it, I was a miserable failure, this theory has held true.

Every club we've opened in the last twenty four years, we have learned a few things to do again, and a few things to strike from our ideas list. WE paid well for the mistakes/lessons of our growth. And now we are selling these as experience to Franchisees of NITRO FITNESS.

There are many fundamentals we stick close to that seem to be the reasons combined with energy, enthusiasm and hard work create success where others fail.

You thought this was about me and patting my back,

WRONG!

It is about Paul in Maine, his staff and the records we set that he is breaking. That's right, up there in the mecca of fitness minded Maine, Paul and his team are breaking records. Records Previously set by Lenexa with 67 members in eighteen days. YOU are the MAN, and BANGOR is the PLACE!

Great Job Paul and STAFF!!!

With every club Maine opens, they do a better job, learn what to do more of and grow.

This is true for Joplin as well. They are having a record setting first month and have a list of things they will adjust on location number 2. ( which between you and me, is in the works) as soon as it is official we will post.

We are coming to the close of Joplins first month and they have broken a record for the first month of membership sales previously set by Lenexa and they are not even done yet. Now it looks like they and Maine are going to be in a little competition for some more records.

How exciting!!

Keep up the great work all franchisees and we will march this much needed, highly effective, highly successful group right across the nation saving lives, rescuing the middle-aged man from mediocracy and unhealthy lifestyles. We are making a difference by providing a necessary and attractive alternative to the horrible experiences they would have to endure going to a "typical co-ed club".

Chime in,

Write back,

Blog away and tell how you really feel!

CYA!
