What Greg says from Texas,

Besides "is cold up here, take me back to Texas"

Larry:

Yesterday, I returned from the Nitro Fitness “Discovery Day” hosted by Larry Bedell and Chuck Rappe in Lenexa (Kansas City) and I wanted to share with the Blog on what a great trip it was.

This was my second trip to HQ and I must say I am only more enthusiastic about becoming part of the Nitro family than before. Over the course of two days I spent a lot of time at the Lenexa club talking with the managers and club members, taking measurements and pictures, working out and overall just soaking it all in. I also spent a lot of time with other potential franchisee owners talking for hours, sharing ideas, strategies, goals as wells as the concerns and the unknowns associated with becoming a new entrepreneur.

During the scheduled meetings with Larry and Chuck we spent hours discussing the Nitro concept, UFOC, location selection, financing options as well as anything and everything related to the Nitro business and their past lives and fitness experiences. In addition, Larry had set-up conference calls with two current franchisee owners, Dr. John Dougherty from Joplin, MO and Paul Bernier from Maine allow us to ask countless questions about their Nitro businesses. Nothing was off limits.

On the last day Marion (whom I suspect is seriously under paid) arranged four men and a pig to bring in some of the best Bar-BQ that I have had in a while for lunch. We also got to spend a lot of time with the great folks (the always engaging Fred and Terri, that own the Columbia, MO club).

Overall, Larry and Chucks title of this meeting being a discover day(s) was dead on and I would recommend anyone that is half interested in owning a Nitro Fitness Franchise to not miss the next one.

Thanks,
